District Meeting: Student Case Competition NOTE: the deadline has been EXTENDED for signing up at the Hotel to get the APICS RATE of $89. The NEW DATE is Tuesday 2/2. If you have not registered please do so as soon as possible. ALSO: If any of you would like to donate door prizes for the District Meeting/Student Case Competition please bring them to the event. Bring them to the Saturday morning session. Parent Chapters please make sure that every student on your student chapter team gets registered. We need the name of every student and school that will be participating on every team in advance of the competition. Please remember that ALL team members must be a member of an affiliated student chapter CLICK HERE FOR TENTATIVE AGENDA: Please do not make copies as it may change. February 19-20, 2010, To register for the event click on the following link. Please note that there are two registrations on this link, one for students and one for professionals. STUDENTS please make sure every member on your team signs up. We need every students name and contact information. We also need to know which Student chapter you belong to and the name of your sponsoring Parent Chapter that will be submitting your entry donation. Included in the donation this year will be the cost of the Saturday Lunch for each student on your team . NOTE: Professionals and Students-- By signing up at the following link you are only signing up for the event itself. You ALSO need to register for the hotel. This year we will be staying at The Double Tree Guest Suites and Conference Center in Downers Grove IL. The hotel we were at 3 years ago. 2111 Butterfield Road, Downers Grove, IL 60515 (630) 971-2000 Rooms will be $89 per night WITH BREAKFAST. Register as soon as possible to get the APICS Rate. Rules for the case are being updated. This year teams will be limited from 2 to 8 members per team. The number of teams will be limited to 30 and registrations will be accepted on a first come first serve basis. Entry donation requested for each team is a $500 that will pay for the students lunches and prize money. More rules information to follow soon. | . Chapter Board Listing At the last District meeting we had a request to display all the Chapter Board Members for all chapters. The reason being is so that we would increase communication between chapters officers. This will also allow (as an example) for a treasurer of one chapter (or any of the board members) to communicate with another officer on another chapter board. The list is attached for your use. We hope that the info on the attachment helps you. When using the list if you find that speakers you have used are not on the list please share them with us.
